Any Spiritual Blessing is Ours

Haiti turned into an independent nation on January 1, 1804. A lot of of the people it is satisfied of being farmers. In 1809 the government began to pay to his soldiers with small plots and the division of the country in small farms was completed for 1843. Even today, where he wants that you look out of the city and villages one sees small fields that provide his proprietors the sufficient thing to survive.

In and himself, agricultural subsistence does not seem to be a bad thing for the persons who do not inhale to have anything more than what they have today. But as the population grows: where will find the next generation and the generation after that one the ground for agricultural subsistence? What will happen when the ground is drained of his nutrients, is no any more ground to obtain properties for his children, and the fertilizers are very costly? With this the fact is that Caribbean many and African nations fight. Only it takes a year of bad harvest to hurt of long term to his national economy.

Although the natural resources and economic opportunities of the United States and Canada can be better than other these nations, the spiritual blessings that the Christians have in every nation are the same. It is possible that there is a disparity as for the resources that God uses for our spiritual growth, namely, shepherds with memoes training, or very few shepherds. There can be an absence of Bíblias, or poor translations, or a level between the people of not very high literacy to read material catequístico solidly with comprehension.

The Nature of Spiritual Blessings

Nevertheless, when we speak about spiritual blessings, every believer in every nation has spiritual blessings. In his letter to the Efesios, Pablo goes to the church that does not have the material resources that we think that they are essential for our life, but he says to them that they have any spiritual blessing. The beginning of the chapter 1 greeting the Efesos saints with a double blessing of grace and peace, Then in the poem 3 the declara the God's phrase “Who we are bendecido in Christ with all spiritual blessing in celestial places”. In other words, in Christ there is no spiritual blessing that every believer has not received.

When the saints of the Ancient Testament were thinking about the God's blessings, they were thinking very often about material blessings that the Gentleman should grant to his people in this life. They were thinking about rich harvests, big cattle, big families, safety of the hostile nations and even the kingdom on the nations. These were the material blessings of the relation pactual that God was giving to his people.

Here, nevertheless, Pablo speaks about spiritual, not material blessings. And in Romans 15:27 he speaks about the spiritual benefits of the gospel that the gentiles have received. These spiritual blessings include union, communion with God across Christ, new life, faith, pardon of the saints, redemption of the curses of the law, the imputation of justice without works, eternal life, and of all the benefits that belong to every believer here and in glory.

On having called these "spiritual" blessings, Pablo clarifies two things. First, these are blessings that remain. They do not happen. We have them completely and completely when we are young as when we age. We have them completely when we are sick that when we are well. These are the classes of blessings that we have both in this life and in the future one. In Christ, God it loves us and it is glad for us. He is patient with us, He is faithful towards us. He is compassionate and compassionate towards us.

Secondly, on having called these "spiritual" blessings, Pablo clarifies that they are not necessary perceptible to ours to feel. In Christ they are ours, each of them is that we live in a good house in a wealthy nation or are without hearth because of an area slide in an impoverished nation.

The Source of Spiritual Blessings

Pablo declares that the spiritual blessings come from the sky. Have you thought in such a way that we describe the gifts that we do or receive? We identify where we buy them or who it gave it to us. We receive a few pants of lightweight mixed fibre of our aunt. We buy a clear camera in certain shop.

The blessings about which Pablo speaks here do not come from any other place, as if God was arranging them of a super shop of the Internet. These blessings are of the sky. They come from the place that God inhabits.

The celestial places, it is where Christ is seated (Efesios 1:20 and where we have been seated with Christ (2:6) the celestial places is the residence of the leaders and authorities before which God allows to see his knowledge to the church 3:10) The malignant spiritual forces against which we fight also are there (6:12)

We can coming from these blessings: they are given us in Christ. We know his nature: They are spiritual. We know from which they come: They come from the sky. And in Efesos 1:4 Pablo says to us when God determines these blessings. Before the foundation of the world. And in this poem we see why he chose us and blessed us: So that we are holy and without spot. He has chosen us in Christ and bendecido in Christ so that our nature is in accordance with Christ's nature. He chose us to transform us of being this that love this world to those that give the back to the sin and to the world and take delight in serving to him and doing his will. He chose us in Christ to be separated in him and to found without spot to his sight,

Our Attitude

Not only we must be been grateful of being receptacles of so many blessing, but of wanting with everything what exists in us of coming to the God's goal for us in Christ. We must see our life in this world not only in terms of many God's blessings to us, but in terms of holiness and justice by which we have been chosen.

We have received everything what really it counts. Then: Why do we grieve for not having enough material blessings, which are only seasonal? Why do we try to like friends and relatives, to receive the things of little value of this world, in ves of pleasing God, who is not bendecido with the celestial blessings?

Why is it that what we already never have is sufficient for us? Why do we want anything different? Why are we obsessed by the passing things? Why do not we want to like him him to, to see the intention of finished God in us? Why are we satisfied by the minimal knowledge of our spiritual blessing and wish more material blessings?

Our material circumstances are completely in contrast to the circumstances of many of which ministran our missionaries Foráneos. But like us, believers of Haiti, Africa, Suriname, Uruguay and part of Asia also possess any spiritual blessing in the celestial places. As they, we think that this or a bit of material wealth will make us better, with more safety or serviceability. As we, they need to be remembered of what they have already in Christ, while they face his poverty and the false promises of “health and wealths” predicates those who are more present in these places. As they, we need to be remembered of the hope of the arrival of Christ and of the new sky and the new ground. Like us, they need to be remembered of being joyful on what God has met to us to live in this world.

In spite of the material differences, quite believing it has the same spiritual blessing, and it is these blessings that give us safety in our hope of the future time. No Christian life must be lived as if the substantial level was sufficient - not when we have any spiritual blessing in the celestial places. We must be been grateful immensely for these blessings.

Across the work of the Committee of Christian Education, Domestic Missions and Extension of Churches, and Foreign Missions, more and more believers are listening on the spiritual blessings that they need desperately and can have for Christ Jesus only. The believers are being remembered of the abundant spiritual blessings that they have in Christ.
