Depressive bosses
The depressive ones usually happen repeatedly with the same stone No person is forced to get depressed. And nevertheless, there are cyclical depressive ones, which not well have gone out of a depression when it is already possible to predict that they will fall down in other one. It is like stumbling repeatedly over the same stone or time falls down after time in the same hole. But, the fault has neither the stone nor the hole but the one that does not take the measures to not have an accident again.
Going out of the Depression

11 References To go out of the depression is not easily, but impossibly either. Whenever I think about the depression I remember that ancient announcement of television that he was saying: "If the plates mountain makes him feel this way...”, and there was going out a housewife who was diminished before piled up and increasing plates mountain in his kitchen. Then, the solution was coming: "I used such a detergent...:” What person does not get depressed when there are joined to him the junk rooms of breakfast, lunch and meal. And, worse still, if it leaves that they are joined him for more than one day. And the fact is that the depression is like a mountain of plates that has been accumulating us, and that of course we have been postponing until it seems too big to us to face him. And while more time I happened, less desires we have of washing them.
Understanding the Depression
The door of leakage of the depression is not a professional but Biblical secret. The symptomatic picture that a depressed person presents can be amazingly a complex. It can go from the disorders of appetite and sleep, lacking in concentration, feelings of fault and shame, spontaneous crying, suicidal thoughts, low self-esteem, headaches, gastrointestinal disorders, and round there it continues the list. But as Dr. Jay E indicates us. Adams, father of the Biblical commission: "The important fact that it is necessary to remember is a depression it does not turn out from any of these factors, but it comes from a cyclical process in which the initial problem is treated badly, in such a way that it is enlarged in descending spirals, and that in the end they finish in the despair.” let's say it this way; that with our way of acting or of reacting we have been creating a maelstrom inside us that has ended up by crawling towards the fund, and exhausting our aptitude to fight and to set free us.
Depression and Responsibility
If you are crossing for a depression, and he wants to go out, it is already a time to assume responsibility for her. It has already been said that every person experiences depressions along his life. To feel sad and distressed occasionally is something common in the repertoire of all. But, when the thing goes further away and the interest in the life gets lost, when there are experienced catastrophic and suicidal thoughts, isolation, lethargy, lack of appetite and other lugubrious and morbid declarations, it means that there are becoming exhausted the energies, the motivation and the desires to keep on fighting in the life. Which can presage up to the worst of the nonsense.
Alert of Depression
If you are experiencing some of the following symptoms, it is possible that you are happening for a depression. But, if you are experiencing at least four of them, it is sure that you it are, and you need help as soon as possible.
When God goes to a Funeral
“When God goes to a funeral” it is the suggestive title of one of the chapters of one of the most recent books of the teacher Michael Horton. There seems brilliant to me his analysis of Jesus's appearance before the grave of his friendly Lazarus. The scene could not be more touching. Many friends of the family had come to console his sisters. Four days later Jesus appeared in the funeral scene. Maria went out to his meeting and between tears he was sorry: "Gentleman, if you had been here, my brother would not have died. More also I know now that everything for what you ask God, God will give it to you.” With these words Maria was framing with gold his faith in Christ. And very well Horton interprets it when he says: "It is important to see how here Marten reflects this combination of disappointment that there squeeze the heart and the faith that we find in the Psalms. He does not believe that not even the death has the last word in Jesus's presence.”
A Radical People ...
A Radical People with the Sin and faithful Sólo al Señor “If your right eye..., if your right hand you is an occasion to fall down, extract it, cut it, throw it of you, since it is better that one of your members gets lost, and not that all your body is thrown to the hell.” Mateo 5:29-30 When Mister Jesus Christ used these so radical words, did it like consequence of having re-interpreted the ancient order: "You will not commit adultery.” “You heard that it was said: You will not commit adultery. But I say to you that anyone that looks at a woman to covet it, already committed adultery with her in his heart” (Mateo 5:27-28). The true thing is that if God was going to act radically in the application of this order the whole humanity would be one-eyed and mutilated. Nevertheless, in his big love and compassion it is obliging with us, and he warns us of the gravity of the secret sin that can or not to come out, or to be completed physically. In front of God there is no difference between a contaminated heart and a “stained bed”. Also, that the sin never brings in to the heart but he is born and goes out of him.
A people Distinto...
A People Different from All the rest “I do not ask you to extract them of the world, but you protect them from the evil. As well as I am not of the world, they are not of the world either.” – Juan 17:15-16 The Christians we are citizens of the kingdom of the skies. Christ did not pray so that the Father was extracting us of this world but so that he was keeping us of the evil. The key word of the Sermon of the Mount is “do not be like they”. And the reason is that although we are in the world, we are not of the world. Our citizenship is in the skies. We are citizens of the kingdom of the skies here in the ground.
Understanding the Doctrine of the Sinned Original - report I
Understanding the Doctrine of the Original Sin – Part I: How will we escape if we will have in little such a big salvation? It is impossible to understand the nature and nobility of the salvation if we do not understand of what and how. The answers to these questions are: "of the sin” and “by means of Christ”, and they can seem simple to us at first sight. But what this implies or how is it interpreted this is what does the difference, and what has generated endless controversies inside the Church from the first centuries.
Understanding The Doctrine of the Original Sin - Part II
Pelagio was mistaken sincerely as for the original sin, but Agustín, no. We have already said that Pelagio, a monk of the fifth century reacted with excited conviction to a prayer of Agustín, another contemporary monk of his. Pelagio taught that the man, after his first sin, remained essentially equal before to commit it, and emphasized firmly the free will and his aptitude to decide between the good and evil, as if the sin should have neither on he nor his descent no consequence. In accordance with Pelagio every infante who was born in this world, was doing it in the same Adam's condition before the sin.
Understanding the Doctrine of the Original Sin - Part III
Semi-Pelagiano, was not a Pelagio relative, but a reduced Pelagianismo. Recapturing the cause of Pelagio, it arises what was called the "Semi-Pelagianismo", assuming what they understood it was an intermediate point between the positions of Agustín and Pelagio. A reduced pelagianismo, who was accepting partly the effects, consequences and scope of Adam's sin, so much in him as in his posterity, but who reserves to the man a dose of good will as to be able to cooperate with the God's grace in the conversion.
Another False Cult
Some years ago Mark Buchanan published in the magazine “Chistianity Today“ the following titled article “Caught in the cult of the next thing”:“ I belong to the cult of: What is the next thing?. It is dangerously easy to fall down in this group. It happens for defect, and not for election of the cult, when one does not manage to resist to him. The cult of: What is the next thing? it is the consumerism in religious terms. It has its own litany of sacred words: more, you deserve it to yourself, new, more rapid, cleaner, more brilliant. It has its own traditional liturgy: it load, instantaneous credit, without prompt payment, deferred payment, without interests for three months. It has its own preachers, Evangelists, prophets and apostles: publicists, players and sponsors of celebrities. It has, of course, its own sanctums, chapels, temples, wild Indians: shopping centers, supershops, stores. It has its own sacraments: cards of credit and of debit. It has its own delight experience: the compulsive buys. The central message of the cult of: What is the next thing? it proclaims:“ He wants and buys because the kingdom of the things has approached.”
Where will the poor souls of the limbo have gone to stop ?
After centuries of discussions the traditional church made to disappear, as for art of magic, the limbo. The limbo, inside the ecclesiastic or religious language, is not a Caribbean dance but a place where, supposedly, they were going to stop the souls of those that were never baptized by the church. But, on Friday, the 20th of April of the year 2007, this sector of the Christianity, under the authority of his maximum leader, affirmed and proclaimed that the limbo does not exist. From there that we wonder: where will have gone to stop the poor souls that for seven centuries they had sent to the limbo?
The Active Obedience of Christ
Today we want to dedicate our space to the “active obedience of Christ”. I confess that I have had before me excellent writings about the obedience Christ's assets, but none has captivated me any more than the one that corresponds to Gresham Machen, principal leader in the formation of the Orthodox Presbyterian Church. It was a radial message that pronounced a few weeks before his death in 1937. The previous week had spoken about Christ's sufferings for our sins. But nothing had said about the active obedience of Christ. And he was feeling in debt in spite of doing justice to him to this aspect of his work to save us.
